Selective rehabilitation of existing barber shop into reinvigorated locally and internationally recognized spot.

• Worked closely with owner to establish design aesthetic and shop identity with owner.
• Saved original spirit of “Sal’s Barbershop” a 40 year institution in Carroll Gardens.  Salvaged the rear wall mural, red barber chairs and storefront.
• Space stripped of original finishes, rebuilt and expanded.
• All new electrical and plumbing installed.
• Designed space, hired subcontractors and monitored work daily on site.

Project completed in 3 months for less than $50,000.
